Nonviolence Works (NVW) is a nonprofit organization serving at-risk youth and families in Taos County in need of guidance and counseling.
We have the largest staff of credentialed and licensed behavioral health workers in Northern New Mexico.
Some 70% of our resources is dedicated to helping the youth of Taos County. About one in five Taos County students receive our services. Some 79% of them have demonstrated improvement in academic performance, anger management, and skills in communication, decision making and conflict resolution.
Our Mission: To inspire, train, and empower all people to lead lives of nonviolence.
