Nonviolence Works offers a wide array of nonviolence programs and services for the youth of Taos County, including in-school therapeutic support.
We are active in 13 schools, as well as the Juvenile Probation Office and Juvenile Detention Center. About one in five Taos County students receive one or more of NVW’s youth services.
We also offer wraparound counseling services for families and adults, as well as a number of innovative programs such as Restorative Parenting and Fatherhood Classes.
To provide these services, we maintain a quality staff of eleven licensed counselors and social workers, supervised by a clinical director.
The NVW staff has the largest licensed and credentialed behavioral health staff in Northern New Mexico.
