Nonviolence Works offers Restorative Parenting and Fatherhood classes for parents who have lost custody of their children.
NVW’s Fatherhood Classes are designed to inspire fathers to confidently claim their fatherhood role and promote the development of a healthy father/child relationship.
- For first-time fathers, Fatherhood Classes prepare them for the stressors and challenges of fatherhood. The classes also provide fathers with knowledge and tools to support the mother of their child through the rigors of pregnancy and childbirth.
- For divorced or estranged fathers, Fatherhood Classes resolve issues of custody, visitation, child support, child safety, and financial responsibility. The classes train fathers to build productive and sustainable co-parenting relationships.
We are recruiting men to join a research-proven fatherhood program entitled 24/7 Dads.
This is an opportunity to be with other men and learn and practice skills that are developmentally appropriate and sensitive to cultural practices. It is especially powerful for Dads with infants and young children—to start the fathering role successfully.
